Oh how I love you, my darling! And how I hope I can say that to you in words and acts more times and more deeply than I do today. You are my everything and life is so much brighter and happier with you. Remember always that you are the most wonderful and precious blessing in your mother's life. You are and always will be my everything.
Salata de beof (with chicken, not beef) was excellent! You had thirds!! Mamaie is the best!
You sure love to get birthday cards: you carefully counted and enjoyed reading the ones your classmates made for you, and loved reading the ones you got from family this morning when you woke up an hour early than usual as you were so excited to be turning eight!!! In fact, I don't think you slept much last night. :-) I love that bright shinning smile of yours!!!
You got sang "Happy Birthday" and "Multi Ani Traiasca!" right when you woke up, how much fun that was!!
Mommy and daddy dropped you off to school on your special day. And you wore your horseback riding attire, how appropriate for a real equestrian!!
Looking forward to a day filled with special moments and laughter!! We will have lunch together (pizza, shrimp, broccoli, a cupcake, and Sprite!) and then celebrate some more with hours d'overs and cake at Del Lago/Heatherton in Magnolia tonight.
Lunch was fun. A couple of teachers and the school nurse congratulated you and admired your fancy lunch (Amy's roasted veggie pizza with Daiya cheese, baked shrimp, steamed broccoli, Sprite, and a delish spice cupcake.)
You made a beautiful crown for yourself. :)
The afternoon was just as delightful as the first part of the day. Daddy came home to you with a bunch of balloons, mommy and grandparents decorated the house for you and after coming back from school, we all package up the food and headed out to Magnolia.
On the way there were made a quick stop to Charlotte's Saddlery for you to pick a gift from mommy and daddy.
You love hanging out at the tack store!!
Ms. Heather, Ramon and Linzey surprised you with decorating the barn and presenting you with lots of beautiful gifts. What a blessed little girl you are!
They even decorated the jump/sign for you!
Saddle soap, that's right!
Remi being introduced to your new toy. He didn't quite know what to think of it.
He enjoyed your attention and love as always.
The amazing mamaie made you a beautiful and oh so delicious red velvet "Remi" cake, earlier in the day. (She made a cake just like this for your 4th birthday but with white/pink/blue accents.)
As today was also mamaie and tataie's 43rd Wedding Anniversary, mommy and daddy took them out for lunch.
Now back to the barn and your celebration, Remi LOVED the cake:
The whole family:
We are all somewhat distracted as we were trying to get Remi to pose instead of looking for cake:
Happy Birthday, Love!
The beautiful Ms. Heather enjoying a healthy portion of cake! :)
All of the horses got some cake/cupcakes we especially prepared for them. They all loved it and wanted more and more, sugar is an addiction not matter where you are on the food chain, haha!
You couldn't have had a more beautiful celebration, darling! We are so happy that we were able to make your wish come true and have your birthday at the barn. We got home late where dear Andrea and Shu were waiting to congratulate you, what amazing friends and family we have!! God bless them all.

The goodies bags you've been looking forward to getting and putting together for your classmates. You and grandma did an excellent job! Later on you told us everyone in the classroom was in heaven about the goodies. And your joy of giving is so precious and something to hold onto forever.
