Winter, Spring and some Summer

Ella had a great school year, sadly her last one in elementary. Her best one yet. She made us so proud receiving the Presidential Award for academic excellence (A's only) for the past two years, and for scoring Advanced (Master's level) on her STAAR tests for Math, English, and Science. She also got many other awards for Texas Bluebonnet excellence in reading, Leadership award, Matchbook award, and others. The awards ceremony was needless to say very emotional and it was wonderful that we had grandparents with us to celebrate our Ella Bella!

But first some pics from Winter and Spring:

Horse-back riding has been phenomenal for her lately. Or I should say she and Piccolo have been amazing over these past 8-9 months. They have come up four divisions in 8 months (4 shows only.) From beginner to short-stirrup (2'), to novice (2'3"), to children's pony hunter 2'6", and jumping 2'9" and 3' sometimes at home, in lessons that is. Grateful to God for His infinite mercy and love for allowing them to accomplish so much together. In their first Novice show back in February they won Reserve Champion.

Then grandma and grandpa from Romania came and had Easter together and had a lot of good times in Spring and Summer.

Church service projects: making blankets for foster children, and donating books and making cards and book marks.

Ella practicing for Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser. She made t-shirts for each of her team mates.

This is when our sweet Piccolo had a colic episode from which she actually sprung back quite quickly.
