What a great year 2012 has been! We counted our blessings, had some fun times, made some happy memories, but also dealt with quite a few family health challenges on both sides, some still lingering. On the upside, we learned to rely on the Lord more and gained a deeper understanding of His love for each of us and patience in trials.
We spent New Year's at home, just how it has been our tradition. We had Shu and Andrea over who grilled some yummy meats and veggies for us, I made a few appetizers and a cake, and all in all a great time was had! We had a blast with fireworks and firecrackers in our driveway and got to ring in the New Year twice, once around 10:30 pm when we sent Ella to sleep and once at ... midnight! (I don't think we can get away with this one next year.)
For some reason, I can't post any of the pictures on here... I may need to start a new blog since I probably reached allotted free space limit on this one. Sufficeth to say is that we had a wonderful 2012 and stepped confidently into 2013 with much hope, faith, and anticipation for some wonderful times to come!
