Ella is. We will miss Ms. Laurie as she is the one who put the reins in Ella's hands for the first time. She introduced Ella to the beautiful equestrian world.
She is moving out of the state which means Ella gets a new instructor. Yesterday we had our first lesson with Ms. Jacqueline. It was awesome, intense, involved, and wonderful to watch. It was also quite a workout for this little one. Ella learned the 2-point position and did great. Ms. Jaqueline hasn't seen a six-year old rider as strong as Ella. We knew she's strong, physically but most importantly mentally.
She also got to try another horse, Buzz which turned to be a little bit easier to handle, not as temperamental as Flag, the Appalosa she's been riding and pictured above. :)
It was a pleasure to watch! I am so grateful for such a brave little girl who loves to learn and is not afraid of doing hard things. I love her passion. By the end she was so tired and was ready to get off the horse, she gave Buzz a big hug and wanted to take a nap right up there in the saddle. But Ms. Jacqueline pushed her to do another round. And I'm glad she did. We came home and celebrated hard work with a yummy healthy snack, some new healthified soda, and Coconut Milk Kefir. It was a great day and evening!!!!!
From the "Other things" category, we are so hoping and praying to get our Dallas house sold so we can purchase a home here and register Ella for school.
This Friday Hrishi and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary!!!!! Yay!!! Can you believe it??? We're taking a little family vacation to Sea World and Ella is over the moon. I can't wait either! I'm so excited!! :)
Life is going well, busy at work and home, but loving it! We have been so richly blessed. I have launched my fitness blog that I am sharing with a few friends who were interested, http://www.deliberatelyhealthy.blogspot.com/
On the fitness front I've been doing well, nutrition wise too, much better especially these past two weeks, still some improvement is needed and I'm working towards accomplishing that. Today is leg day!!! :)
Life is wonderful and I hope to be greatful for it and live worthy of all the blessings are given to me personally, and to my family!
